I'm so happy to be featured in the Winter issue of Mag Rouge - a gorgeous magazine that features the most beautiful bridal style and inspirational wedding photography. Head to page 156 and you'll see a boudoir-to-bride story from yours truly with lingerie from Sonata and a stunning dress from Ian Stuart Bride.
I love shooting boudoir - there's nothing so beautiful as the female form. But then add to that the transformation of a woman slipping into her wedding dress and you've got a photographic journey that is truly sublime.
A boudoir shoot is a wonderful gift for any groom on his wedding day but also makes a fantastic birthday / Valentine's / justtosayIloveyou gift. It's also the perfect gift to yourself - what better way to celebrate your body?
Chris and Caroline Reed were married back in late May during that intense heatwave. Just days before, we'd had heavy rain and then all of a sudden the heavens shone down for the most beautiful wedding.
The themes were navy blue and gorgeous deep red roses - such a lush combination. The ceremony and reception all took place at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton with its quirky reception (in a bus) and roaming llamas.
A sweet apple orchard was the perfect setting for the portraits with leaves and branches providing some much-needed shade from the afternoon sun.
The guests enjoyed champagne and canapes in the sunshine whilst the wedding party portraits took place and then everyone headed in to the beautiful reception room for the wedding breakfast. Chris is a dubstep producer and DJ and a series of musician friends provided the reception entertainment.
