Black and white photographs possess so much timeless beauty and old-school glamour. I love pastel colours and bright reds but some images were just made for black and white...
Chris and Caroline Reed were married back in late May during that intense heatwave. Just days before, we'd had heavy rain and then all of a sudden the heavens shone down for the most beautiful wedding.
The themes were navy blue and gorgeous deep red roses - such a lush combination. The ceremony and reception all took place at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton with its quirky reception (in a bus) and roaming llamas.
A sweet apple orchard was the perfect setting for the portraits with leaves and branches providing some much-needed shade from the afternoon sun.
The guests enjoyed champagne and canapes in the sunshine whilst the wedding party portraits took place and then everyone headed in to the beautiful reception room for the wedding breakfast. Chris is a dubstep producer and DJ and a series of musician friends provided the reception entertainment.
I'm about to deliver this beautiful print box to a gorgeous couple who were married during the unexpected heatwave a few weeks ago.
Just a few days before their wedding there was torrential rain across England and then the heavens cleared for a spell of glorious sunshine - what luck!
