THREE AMERICANS IN LONDON

Rachel is a wedding photographer from Texas who paid a visit to London with her beau before the birth of their baby girl. Being heavily pregnant myself, it was a pleasure to spend a slow afternoon with them taking in the sights around Westminster and photographing the love and excitement between them. We talked babies, pregnancy, birth and photography (of course) and I made two new friends from across the pond. Good luck you beautiful pair!

19 Weeks

Apologies if I've been a little quiet on the blogging front but I've been a little under-the-weather during my first few months of my second pregnancy. The good news is that I've been feeling much better since hitting the second trimester and even ventured in front of the camera last week to start recording my journey. Of course Zeus takes centre stage in welcoming his new sibling :0)

Thuraya

Pregnancy is such a beautiful time though I didn't always feel like that during my own. Photographing Thuraya, I suddenly understood why people were always telling me that I was glowing. She was literally blooming from the inside out. Wonderful xoxo

Cate and Bump

This week I shot a pretty expecting mother called Cate in a field of corn on a lovely warm morning. The early sun reflected off the golden corn and created a halo of natural light around her. On the drive there I was listening to Eva Cassidy's 'Fields of Gold' and it reminded me of Spring when everything is growing and blooming under the soft sun. I can't wait to meet her little boy xoxo

The third trimester

My pregnancy has now hit 28 weeks. I'm still feeling good but starting to become more uncomfortable - perhaps due to the growth spurt I seem to have been through in the last 2 weeks. Less than 3 months to go now :0)
